Radios

The Larkspur Radio System was developed post WW2 by the British primarily for the British Army to replace the ageing disparet radio's that were being used across the services. Larkspur was introduced in the 1950's and offered a communications solution for all perceived roles, all from common components and design.

The system was one of the most successful systems introduced in to the British Army, not ending it's service until the 1980's, in some cases the system was in use for over 30 years. If it was not for the Falklands war, its service would have been longer, as the conflict caused the Clansman system to be rushed in to service.
