WWII US Navy USMC US Army TBY Army Military Radio
Used radio, requires restoration, looks to be pretty much there other than the antenna base that fits on the side, one valve internally looks damaged also. Offered for spares or repair.
This is an example of the famous TBY radio used in the Pacific theatre of WW2 by the USMC.
This one is offered for restoration, it doesn't look as though it would take much to get it operational again, in my opinion, internally it is very clean, it doesn't look modified.
You can source an inverter power supply from Italy for this model of radio.
They are unusual to be in the UK as the USMC did not use them on mass this side of the Atlantic, so if you want one, you will save on the shipping and import cost.
The radio is sold as is, the one shown is the one you will be shipped.
