BC348-P (3141) HF Receiver
This is a very clean, original BC348-P manufactured by Stromberg Carlson, manufactured in 1942.
The receiver is fitted with a 12V US Army Dynamotor, but this is not an original one, the receiver has been converted to 12V, this has been done very cleanly, there is no damage or alterations to the metalwork of the radio.
The case is the correct one for the receiver and is in very good condition, there are a few scratches and marks, but considering the age it is very good.
We have tested it and it is working across the bands correctly.
Serial number is: 3141
This variant of the BC348 would have been used in conjunction with the General Electric BC375 transmitter and may have been installed on the B17 Flying Fortress or similar WW2 heavy aircraft.
