Radio in presentable condition in my opinion. Powers on, white noise. Appears to be an issue with the PTT button.

This version of the Cougar is the hard to find commander version, with the speaker and PTT button, so it could be used as a walkie talkie. You can still use a headset / handset, the speaker will disable when connected.

The model was used by the SAS and other Special Forces (SF).
