Radio is in good cosmetic condition, in my opinion, it requires a good clean, some marks from use and storage. Powers on and appears to be functional.

SCIMITAR was Marconi's offering for a modern, for the time in the 80's, VHF FM radio system that, with built in security capabilities.

SCIMITAR was used extensively by the British Army, typically the radios can be seen installed in vehicles such as the CVRT family, where it was designed to be a straight replacement for the VRC353.

This radio would make the perfect addition to a CVRT Sabre, Scorpion, Scimitar, Sultan and so on.
