In good presentable condition, considering age, TESTED WORKING.

The R209 was designed at Christchurch during the later years of WW2, to replace the R107, R109 and other receivers.

The R209 was paired with transmitters such as the Wireless Set 53.

The interesting fact about the receiver is the case was designed for the failed Wireless Set 42, which didn't go beyond prototyping.

This one has been tested in our workshop and is working.

Only negative I can spot on inspection is the power socket the shell is cracked, but when you connect the power lead, you cannot see this.
