Wireless Set 19 WS19 WW2 Army Military Radio Base Board
Used board, presentable condition. Repair to end, where someone tried to shorten it, it has been professionally rejoined. Runners copied in Oak and replaced so they are slightly wider. Clips and fittings look to be present.
When this board came to us it had been shortened to fit in to a Jeep, we were provided with the end and so it has been professionally joined back together, the join is doubled biscuit-ed and glued, using a commercial glue. We have not attempted to filler or paint the board, once you install a Control Unit No 3, you won't really be able to see the join, as the box will cover most of it. The runners underneath were replaced, so the left one would have a larger surface area, to support the repair. The original runners are included, to keep it all together.
These boards were used when the 19 was deployed in tent-age, in a fixed location or in the back of a truck.
These boards can be quite hard to find and this one will make your 19 set look more complete.
Sold as pictured.
