WW2 Military Radio US Army Signal Corps BC348L HF Communications Receiver
Used radio, very presentable condition. Has had a 240V power supply added in place of the dynamotor PSU. Powers on and can be heard to be receiving. SOLD AS IS, for restoration or parts.

This BC348 has managed to survive without being decimated by the modifiers, it has been converted to 240v mains and is fitted with a UK 3 pin plug, this looks to have been done in a sympathetic way.
If you are looking for a BC348 to put on the air, use from mains, without a dynamotor making noise, this looks to be a good candidate, as the front looks pretty original.
We have powered it up and it appears to have life in it, the controls need cleaning, it needs a general service, but it is sold as is, untested and for restoration.
The L model was in service when the 8th Air Force formed and so is a version commonly carried on the B17 and B24.
Delivery is available, but if you would prefer collection of the radio is welcome from either Devon or West Yorkshire, if you live near the M5, M6, M65, M1 or M42 I am happy to meet with the radio to save on damage from shipping. I travel up and down the country twice a week.
