Reception Set R109AT Serial No 17527

This is the WW2 R109 Receiver, Version 'A' which has been Tropicalised.

The receiver is offered for restoration, looking at it, this is a straight forward restoration as the set is free from corrosion and is pretty much all there.

The receiver is in very good condition for its age, its is very presentable.

The case is very clean, the inside paper circuit diagram is not sun burnt or faded.

Internally the radio is in good condition, the spare valve tray is missing, common, the speaker has been removed.

This is the model A which would have been used most commonly with the Wireless Set 76, a CW portable sender, used by Airbourne forces of the British Army in WW2.
