WW2 Army Radio HF Communications Receiver HRO R106

Used receiver. Presentable condition for age. Marks from use. Coil pack is present. US Army Signal Corps version. Mains cord is present. Powers on and appears to have life in it. SOLD AS IS, UNTESTED.

This appears to be a very nice example, in my opinion, of this famous and sought after receiver. This version uses USA metal valves and is lacquered to protect against corrosion.

The power cord is present, with correct 4 pin plug, there is a snag on the cord that could do with attention.

We have put power on the receiver and it came to life first time, the meter appears to have movement and there is some RF activity, but the radio is SOLD AS IS FOR SPARES or RESTORATION.

Collection of the radio is welcome from either Devon or West Yorkshire, if you live near the M5, M6, M65, M1 or M42 I am happy to meet with the radio to save on damage from shipping. I travel up and down the country twice a week.

Any questions please ask.
